Second grade is an important year both religiously and academically.  You will be preparing for two very important Sacraments this year:  Penance and Reconciliation and the Eucharist.  Your reading skills learned in first grade will help you to understand and enjoy reading.  Your studies will focus on Common Core standards in both Math and Language Arts.   You will use John Collins Writing across the curriculum.  Students are both supported and challenged to assure they work to their potential.
